In a competitive urban mobility market, pricing is more than finance, it’s a real-time strategy lever. Car2Go needed to stay competitive across shifting demand, local rivals, and seasonal dynamics, all while avoiding manual micromanagement.

Pricing decisions were reactive and inconsistent. Marketing teams needed to know what to charge, where to adjust, and when to act, but lacked the insight, automation, and control to do it confidently or fast enough.

Moving beyond reactive pricing, we addressed the problem from a wider angle, reframing it as an opportunity for growth and control. We asked ourselves: • What if pricing wasn’t a manual decision but a system logic? • How can we see competitor moves in real time rather than after the fact? • What would it take for pricing to update itself, with human input only when truly needed? • How can pricing become a lever for growth instead of a daily firefight? • What signals, if captured and connected, would let us act faster than the market?
